How to Maintain Your Vehicle After Ceramic Coating

To get the most out of your ceramic coating, proper maintenance is key. While the coating makes your car easier to clean and protects it from the elements, it still needs basic care to keep that deep gloss and hydrophobic effect.

✅ Do’s:

Wash regularly (every 1–2 weeks) using a pH-neutral car shampoo.

Use the two-bucket method (one for soap, one for rinse) with a microfiber wash mitt to prevent swirl marks.

Dry with a soft microfiber towel — never let water air dry, as it may leave spots.

Use a ceramic-safe detail spray or SiO₂ booster every few months to enhance gloss and water beading.

Park in shade or under cover whenever possible to reduce UV exposure.

🚫 Don’ts:

❌ Don’t use automatic car washes or brushes — they cause micro-scratches.

❌ Don’t use harsh degreasers, dish soap, or high-pH cleaners.

❌ Don’t clay bar or machine polish unless done by a professional (it can remove the coating).

❌ Don’t neglect washing for months — the coating helps, but dirt can still bond over time.
